Ditsch, Lorraine T. age 88 of Watertown passed away Friday February 1, 2013 at the Auburn Home in Waconia.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday February 5, 2013 - 11:00 am St. Boniface Catholic Church (4025 Main St.), St. Bonifacius with Father Thomas Balluff as Celebrant of the Mass; visitation Monday 4-8 pm and 1 hour prior to the Mass all at the church; interment church cemetery.

Lorraine was born on February 24, 1924 in Victoria, MN the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Koehnen) Zanger. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Victoria Catholic Church in Victoria and on October 11, 1947, she was united in marriage to Joseph M. Ditsch at St. Victoria Catholic Church in Victoria.

Lorraine enjoyed working in her garden, just caring for her flowers and vegetables. She loved baking, canning, and caring for her house. She and Joe loved to go camping and taking vacation. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Bonifacius. Lorraine loved her family very much and will be missed.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Ditsch; granddaughter Ashley Meuwissen; father and mother Joseph and Elizabeth Zanger; brothers Jerome and Leroy Zanger; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Sylvester and Leona Ditsch, Clara and Vernon Mayer, Elvira Zanger.

Lorraine is survived by her loving family; children, James (Gail) Ditsch of Delano, Philip Ditsch of Watertown, Eileen (Ron) Anderson of Minnetonka, Mark (Nadine) Ditsch of Cologne; grandchildren Joe and Marcia Ditsch, Peter and Chonda Ditsch, Tom Ditsch and special friend Maria, Emily Ditsch, Matt Ditsch, Jeremy Meuwissen, Amber Meuwissen; great-grandchildren Adalyn Ditsch, Cora Ditsch, Braden Ditsch, Blake Ditsch; brother Richard Zanger of Waconia; sister and brother-in-law Eldoris and Jerry Doboszenski of Excelsior; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearer are grandchildren, Joe Ditsch, Peter Ditsch, Tom Ditsch, Emily Ditsch, Matt Ditsch, Jeremy Meuwissen, Amber Meuwissen.
